2 — Products

Studio Gardia offers embroidered jewelry designed and made in Montreuil, mainly in small series.

The essential characteristics of each piece are presented on its product page: dimensions, weight, materials, colors and photographs.

Photographs are taken to show the pieces as faithfully as possible. Slight color variations may nevertheless appear depending on the screen.

Products are offered while stocks last.

3 — Prices

Prices are shown in euros.

Studio Gardia is covered by the French VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (franchise en base de TVA). VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Any shipping costs are shown before the order is finally confirmed.

Studio Gardia may change its prices at any time. The price charged is the one displayed when the order is confirmed.

4 — Orders

The customer selects the desired products and adds them to their cart.

Before payment, a summary lets the customer check the products ordered, the quantities, the prices and any shipping costs.

Confirming the order implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and an obligation to pay.

An order confirmation is then sent automatically by email.

5 — Payment

Payment is made online when ordering, using one of the payment methods offered on the site.

The order is considered final once payment has been confirmed.

The payment methods actually available are shown at checkout.

6 — Shipping

Each order is carefully prepared in the Studio Gardia workshop in Montreuil.

The usual preparation time is 2 to 5 business days, except in special circumstances, particularly during holiday periods. In that case, the exceptional lead times are announced on the site and repeated in the order confirmation email.

Mainland France
Tracked letter — €3.60 for up to 3 pairs.
Tracked Colissimo — €5.50 from 4 pairs.
Free shipping on orders of €80 or more.

International
Tracked international letter: €8 for up to 3 pairs.
Tracked Colissimo International from 4 pairs, price depending on the destination, shown before payment.
Free shipping applies to France only.

Once the order has shipped, an email containing the tracking number and/or link is sent to the customer.

7 — Right of withdrawal and returns

In accordance with the legislation applicable to distance selling, the customer has 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give a reason, where this right applies.

The request must be sent to contact@studiogardia.com stating the order number and the pieces concerned. The return procedure and address are then provided.

Products must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying the decision to withdraw.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Refunds are made within the time limits and under the conditions set by law, using the same payment method as for the order, unless otherwise agreed.

Personalized pieces
In accordance with the exceptions provided for by the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. This exception applies in particular to Studio Gardia jewelry made specially in a custom color at the customer's request.

8 — Exchanges

Studio Gardia does not offer direct exchanges. Where the right of withdrawal applies, the customer may return their order, obtain a refund and then place a new order.

9 — Damaged product or problem on delivery

If there is a problem with an order, the customer writes to contact@studiogardia.com stating their order number and attaching photographs where helpful. Studio Gardia handles the request in accordance with the applicable legal warranties.

10 — Legal warranties

Products sold by Studio Gardia benefit from the applicable legal warranties, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. These warranties apply under the conditions set by French law.

11 — Liability

Studio Gardia undertakes to take the greatest care in preparing and processing orders. Studio Gardia cannot be held liable in the cases provided for by applicable law, in particular in the event of force majeure.

12 — Personal data

Personal data collected when an order is placed is used to process and track it, and for the other purposes set out in the site's privacy policy. Contact: contact@studiogardia.com.

13 — Complaints and consumer mediation

For any complaint, the customer writes to contact@studiogardia.com. An amicable solution will be sought first.

Consumer mediator: contact details being verified, to be added before final publication.

14 — Applicable law and disputes

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing an amicable agreement, the customer may refer the matter to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
